I think this happens after the person has been recently revived after suffering a critical wound. Probably another demo bug or caused by a data transmission delay between your PC and the server.

I went to go revive someone the other day and he got up and starting running away from me with what looked to be a broken arm. I chased after him trying to get a screenshot, but was shot in the back by Knottwobad. :x

It would be cool and it would make things easier for pilots...( This is your captain speaking, If you'll look on the lefthand side you will see enemy forces being blown too bits, thanks for flying Phenix Airlines!) :D

One time I saw a guy get freshly revived while prone. He then proceeded to wiggle across the ground on his stomach with both arms broken, legs off the ground, like a seal :)

sounds like an issue with the charachter model going from ragdoll to rigid.
