I was banned from TKing....

Hey guys, I love the War Is Hell servers, they're great! They are all I ever play on. I'm glad you guys have stuck your nose at EA and have kept the no-timelimit.

Just a few seconds ago I was banned from WiH#1 from TKing. Unintentionally, of course. For the past few hours i've been flying using the JETS and it's really easy to accadentially rack up TEAM KILLS and not be able to make regular kills fast enough to compensate. A couple stray bombings is all it takes to get kicked.

I'm not a TKer who goes around blasting my own team to rage them, though, I have seen a few who do this on occasion, and am often a victim. I notice they get banned soon enough though.

Can I be unbanned please? So I can continue to enjoy this server and contine to be apart of the WiH community? Or am I effed?

Kaput - We did not ban you. It was the demo's auto ban system. I believe it is for either 20 minutes or 24 hours. We're not quite sure yet.

Man, the autoban works but it's not perfect... I wonder if it can be turned off in the final version? It's better than nothing but still....

Two stray bombing runs will ban you, so be careful.

I think for the autoban to kick in, 6 people must have punished you. I will increase this limit up to 10 to stop this. But we'll have Tk'ers staying on the srver longer.

Welcome to the forums, I was on the server when it happend, you were actually having a decent game too, I know cause you kept killing me( I was on opposite team) anyway, it was a autoban, but definitely come back, good players are always welcome, :thumbsup: good gaming last night.

I was just banned for TKing as well. I can wait the 24 hours or whatever but my question is there an easy way to know if the plane your shooting at is friendly or not. At the speed thier traveling if you wait till you see the type of plane he'll be out of range before you launch the missles. Im brand new to BF2 (never played BF or POE) so any tips would be appreciated.

You could use the radar in top right corner to see if it is shown on it (only friendlies are shown).
