has anyone had my same problem? you're hurt or you're running low on ammo and you call for medic/ammo to see that there's either a medic or support person near you so you run towards them only to have them do nothing. so you start calling for what you need, thinking they'll respond then, but they DONT, they just go about their merry juant through the battlefield oblivious as one can be.
now personally, when im a medic/support/or engineer, i heal/supply/and repair anything i see. i mean IT GIVES YOU POINTS TO DO IT, why wouldnt you?!
they obvioulsy know there is an objective to kill people, because they run towards the enemy. are they just stumped on the help-your-team objective of this game or do they not know that a MEDIC ****ING HEALS?!?!
this game rocks, but if people dont do their job this game gets frustrating :wallbash:

I attribute a lot of that to the fact that it's new. People are still trying to get used to the fact that they get points for healing and reparing and such. A lot of people are used to the old BF playing style where they only get points for kills and for flag captures.

I'd say give it a month or so after the game comes out. I'm willing to get you're going to see a lot of cool tactical battles on our WiH servers.

I can already envision a 10 vs. 10 WiH Battle for Supremacy Tournament..... Open it up to the whole BF community at large.... Our very own CAL league.

I once had three medics running around me when I was wounded severely. I shot them.

The TK's were worth it.

How do you call out for a medic? No one still has told me how to honk a horn either.

maybe so, but im COMPLETELY new to the battlefield franchise, the demo is my first taste and i understood what a medic did a) from common sense, b) from those medics around me who actually did their job like persephone, and c) from the items you have...a medic kit and those paddles. im just not sure what is so hard to comprehend.

heh my best story concerning this is i was calling for a medic that was standing next to me but he did nothing, i typed "COME ON, HEAL ME MAN!" to no avail. well he walked a little ways off and got killed. as soon as he did, another person who was watching this ordeal ran to his body, grabbed his kit, and healed me. i first laughed then thanked the second person a lot.

press click, but only in vehicles that the driver does not have a gun. but you can, with a q option while in a vehicle, say "hop in!"

another thing people should be aware of is the "enemy spotted" q option, it rules. i, being new to the game and owning a mic, use to warn my squad verbally, but now i use the enemy spotted because it places on the radar, for your entire team, a respective red icon i.e. a tank, apc, buggy, heli, plane, or infantry.
you must have your quarry in sight, it helps to be aimed at them so a ed question mark doesnt show up where you want a tank icon to.

When you are critically wounded, the living can not see what you type.
