View Full Version : How smart is your right foot?

Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon. This will boggle your
mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can
outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain!
1. WITHOUT anyone watching you (they will think you're going NUTS) and
while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer,
lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right
hand. Your foot will change directions.
I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I
both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to
try it again, if you haven't done so already.

haha when i first was told to do this nothing happened, because i write my 6's clockwise from the inside out not anticlockwise from the outside in like most people do it...

Good one--Dig's got the idea of how to get past it. That is just odd I can think ahead of doing the six and yet still can't stop foot from changing direction unless using Dig's way.

freak
*L*
actually ihave been practising by making opposite rotations of my foot and hand, and am getting better at it, what is funny i did it with my left hand/foot combo first time without even thinking, then i thought about it nad had a similar problem, but it was easier to reprogramme my left side...
my right side is a little more stubborn however but i will master it with both before i go home... that gives me about an hour..... *L*
