This just a little guide for Medics bought to you by, Vryllyn, the crazy medic.
If you are going to be a medic, here are some simple rules you need to follow.
1. Try to get into a squad. Always be with your squadmates and help them. Remember you have Med kits and the shock pads.
2. Vehicles can be your friend. If you are in a vehicle, you can heal everyone around it.
3. Choose to be a passive medic or a straight out combat medic. A passive medic will wait for the firefights to end to heal and revive, while a combat medic will run into the combat, revive and get the hell out of there. You'll take a bullet, but you can always heal yourself.
4. It can be a hell of a job, but you won't get a lot of Thank you. Sometimes you'll end up reviving the same person multiple times within a few seconds. Many people think you are nuts, but hey someone has to keep your troops health.
5. Don't be afraid to be on the front line or to fire back. You have a gun for a reason. People don't go, "Hey, it's a medic. I won't fire on him."
6. For the love of god, you have shock pads... Use them. I'm sick of being surrounded by medics and left click to say, "I need a medic." and not a single medic will make an attempt to revive you. You're job is to keep people alive and to minimize the ticket loss.
I'll add more as I think of it.
