I cant get this game....

Ok I have a couple of questions for you BF pros:

1. What catagory do you use most? Like special forces, medic, ect or do you just like to run for any vehicle you see?

2. When shooting as infantry do you usaly prone, crouch or just stay standing? also do you use burst fire 3-4 round burst or do you just full auto and control the recoil with your mouse?

3. Do you have to to try to stay in a group or can you go lone wolf and still do good?

4. Do you use the crosshair or the sights to shoot with?

5. How do you use the team commands :D


Hopfully once I learn how to play it will be more fun becuase right now I shot at someone and my bullets arent even hitting them it seems, maybe it just takes more to kill in this game then the past (BF:V) Also any other suggestions would be appreciated also by this noobie :)

ok...several things...

1. I typically am our squad's medic...although I switch to whatever is needed...


2. Shooting depends on what class I am...and what is going on...Long distance I almost always lay down... and with Heavy Assult *(support)* I always lay down... but most of the rest of the weapons in most situations I will just crouch... Shotgun I jump around like a bafoon as though the game is UT or Quake. Burst fire is almost always preferred unless you are in very close combat then you go to full-auto. Single shot semi-auto for long distance.

3. In BF:2 I almost always run in a group...but then...as a clan member, I am never playing alone either... group work is esential since you can spawn with your squad commander... thus, we have our squad commander stay just outside a base...usually as a sniper or heavy assult (good for giving us ammo) and the rest of us will spawn there and attack

4. Depends what is going on... most of the time I will zoom into to use sites... although in intense close combat I will just point and shoot

5. Rarely do I use team commands... always on Voice comm with fellow clan members... only time I use commands is to non-clan members who need to be told something

Find some friends that you can run with in a squad...and get good at running with them... it increases your fun when you have a group assulting something... ie also for things like gunners on tanks and helicopters...

Also, listen to others and work together... the more independent people get...the worse the server tends to be...

If you have played BF 1942 or BFV...this is totally different... you cannot solo like you could in those games... this one is just to squad based...

In the old BF 1942 and BFV... a single man/woman could make a much bigger difference then you can in BF:2...



and one last thing that holds true to all the BF games... COMMUNICATE!!!!!
