New Vid Card

So, now that BF2 is comming out I need a new video card. I'm currently running a Nvidia FX5200 128 MB DDR 250 core/500 memory.

I am on a limited budget. Upto 150 dollars. I'm limited to AGP, too.
So, with that in mind. I was wondering a few things..

Should I get a GDDR3 128.. with 500/900 for 150

Or...

Should I just get a 256 DDR 350/500 for 120

Would the GDDR3 even work with my PC?
What's the difference between GDDR3, GDDR2, and DDR?

Also, how much of a graphical improvment would I get if I got an SLI Card? Say, SLI Supported GDDR3 card for 150.. ish.

Any help would be appreciated.

Get a good ol' Radeon 9600 Pro (256 Meg). It has yet to let me down and I can run the BF2 demo on high and play DooM 3, HL2, and other games on the almost-max settings. Powerful little card. And I got mine for 100 dollars.

Right now I run every game high details 800x600, except for BF2.. which is on low.

My system specs:
3.2 GHz
1 GB Ram (512x2 dual channel)
FX5200 126
120 Gig HD 7,200 RPM
Stock cooling.

So, i'm sure it's just the vid card holding me back from that High detail setting..

Indeed, the 6600GT is a good video card with a low price bargain. I have gotten my 6600GT for 225 from PNY Technologies. The price has dropped to 150 and below. Check Newegg.com for prices. Good luck Rune :hump:
