Got banned?

I dont remember any point in time when I was kicked/banned. AFAIK the last time I played on 74.52.44.4:27015 nothing new happened. Just tried connecting now and it said my steam ID was banned. Can I appeal this?

If you have been kicked/banned and feel that it was unjustified or wanted to know why, please post:
Server name,
your in-game name,
date/time of incident,
what you thought happened,
why you think we should unban you.It helps to write a post that is respectful. Mouthing off is a sure way to stay banned. Multiple posts on the same subject will be deleted. The admin(s) involved will respond to your post and he alone will be able to lift your ban. If no admin responds, then the standard ban is 2-weeks.

Once you've served your ban and if you would like to be unbanned, please search for your original complaint thread and reply to it. We're not going to spend time searching for your original thread. It is in your best interest to do your own legwork. Being lazy and starting a new post asking for an unban is a sure way to stay banned.

Most likely it was for team-wounding/team-killing. ie shooting slower players, shooting players for their gun, otherwise not being a nice player.

Post in the Complaints forum linked above, and we'll go from there :thumbsup:

what you thought happened: No clue. I never remembered being banned. I never tk'ed a whole team or anything. Might have spawn raped, maybe due to a curse word in my name, might have accidentally TK'ed(poor RPG shot maybe).
why you think we should unban you: Don't feel like I was justifiably banned because it was probably an accident and/or just a misunderstanding of the rules. I'm a good team INS player.Thanks FozzyBear for the push in the right direction.

The Insurgency server rules:

- No kiddie porn, hardcore porn, racial or generally tasteless sprays. (Admins will decide what is tasteless). Zero tolerance.
- No racial comments. None what-so-ever.
- No excessive foul language. Once or twice is not excessive.
- No tk'ing under any circumstances. This includes retaliatory tk's. If you witness an intentional tk, inform an admin in the game or on TeamSpeak.
- No team-wounding.
- No abusing other players.
- No clan recruiting on server. We have a Recruiting forum for that.
- No spawn camping.
- No using cheats and/or exploits. Also no revealing of them in-game or on forums.
- No hacking.
