Ok so a few months back I bought three tickets, 1 for me and 2 for friends, to see Dream Theater in concert. Now one of these friends can't make it. Now I'm stuck with an extra ticket. :wallbash: If anyone is interested and lives within an acceptable distance, let me know and we can meet up or something. It will be Jolly Roger (Slash), me, and hopefully not someone I scalped the ticket to. Here are the details:

DREAM THEATER with INTO ETERNITY and REDEMPTION
August 24th @ 7:00PM
PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ
Section 303, Row V, Seats 101, 103, 105 (Center and Middle of arena)
Price: I paid $80 but maybe something can be arranged.....

Dream Theater puts on an AMAZING show and this venue is one my favorites in the area.

Let me know ASAP if you're interested!

I'm flying out east!!! I missed them when they came to Phoenix last month, but I have it on good word that you'll be pleased... DUH.

ETA: I'm not actually going... least of all to NJ, no offense.

I would like to see John Petrucci more so on the G3 tour than in Dream Theater but would highly recommend them to anyone. A little far for me to go see.

I'm seeing Rush 2 nights in a row. That should Prog me out for the year. Is Dream Theater worth checking out? I listened to some of "six degrees of blah blah". I thought it sounded too butt rock. what of theirs should I give a listen to?

That's "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence", you heathen. Anyways, "Octavarium" and "Systematic Chaos" are both really good albums.

scenes from a memory was my fave album by them. strange deja vu ftw

edit:strange deja vu sounds like this (http://www.netmusicians.org/files/35-Strange%20Deja%20Vu.mp3). it's a fan made cover using a vastly superior guitar amp, no vocals.

I live in Jersey... Holmdel is like an hour and a half away, but I saw Def Lep/Styx there (and also at the Tweeter :D) a week ago or so... only thing is, I have no friggin clue who Dream Theater are.

I like Dream Theater a lot, "image and words" is the album I like ('pull me under'. I saw them at the oakdale in CT (excellent little theatre). I recommend seeing them, I wish I could make it.
