My computer is broken.

My uninstall/instal shields seem to be broken. Anytime I try to brink them up it will load up but when it gets to the actual uninstall/instal process it closes itself.

I would say your best bet is to just reinstall windows, not format and restart but just install right over the top, you wont lose any settings and it will more than likely fix the problem, first though try a system restore who knows you might get lucky.

I think you can download the windows installer from microsoft, maybe thats what got corupted....

I know we talked on TS the other day about a restore point, did you manage to get it to work? Also, by just putting in your windows CD and booting from it, you will have an option to repair windows, you can also try that first.
