Banned on BF2? Wtf?

Ok, ok, ok. Less than a minute ago I was banned for "excessive TKing or a successful vote" or something like that. Why the hell did that happen? I was playing MEC and was attacking this one US base by myself. I killed the defenders, but more just kept coming since it WAS a spawn point. I think I killed about 12+ guys in under two minutes and suddenly I get banned?!?!

Just go to whichever ones you're not banned on. I think the system goes time banned.

From what i've gathered (been banned twice, it's too easy to TK) is that you will be "vote banned" because x amount of punishes. And it usually lasts 20 minutes. So, you'll be able to join after that time is up.

Just thought I'd bitch and complain about my second banning. *bitches and complains*

I think I learn more each time. I was manning the anti-aircraft gun and doing a DAMN good job for two rounds (got the highest points for AA on the charts both rounds). Then the enemy started getting smart and firing missles etc... when they flew by to screw up my heat seekers. Then my teammates would be near and the missles would shoot THEM down instead. Mid round I was -19 and bitching. Finished in the + but not by much (accomplished by being medic and doing infantry battles).

The odd thing is I didn't get banned until NEXT round (after at least 4 TKs and several team vehicle hits). I was just sitting in a tank and about to drive off. I am VERY careful about running people over when I reverse and didn't touch anyone. As I drive forward... *BAN*

Oh well, I'm going to bed anyway so doesn't make a difference.

You get banned sometimes because people are jerks and seem to punish no matter what. I just got banned and I was doing excellent with 57 kills and the enemy team still had 200 tickets left. I could have gone to 80 or more :x . Just sucks that people punish for things that really arn''t your fault/intentional. I can't tell you how many times I get punished for someone crashing into me and it saying that I tk'd them or for dropping bombs and killing 4 enemies and one ally and them thinking I ment to kill them.

Yah, normally I don't intentionally punish anyone... but when we have an idiotic commander who bombs our own sites and kills half a dozen of our men, that gets a punish. When a mate in a jet bombs the site we're fighting for, killing the last remaining enemy and half a dozen of our men, that's a punish. Then if I get TKed sometimes I check his score... if he's already far in the negatives, that's a punish.

Oh and sometimes I accidentally run someone over or shoot them (close combat near a flag... it's not going down so you know there's an enemy somewhere so I fire quick). But since I play medic I quickly revive them. And they STILL punish me. That's irritating.

Hehe I just got banned again..... I placed an artiillery on a USMC flag..... I didn't think they managed to get it yet so I thought that should help them..... ended up getting the enitre assault team of my side..... got autobanned ..... ugh sorry guys.....

i use commader channel and warn any player within range of my arty strike but of course some people do not listen and i get banned BAH!

i dont think that should apply to a commander he can kill dozens of his team mates if they are not paying attention
