Hmm here are my impressions so far...

1) Tanks, gawd these are either banes or boons. On one hand the machine gun is nice if your well placed, mowing down a squad running across the beach is always fun. However, get 1 or 2 guys, or even 1 with an anit-tank and your history.

2) APC's. Super infantry killer if your the driver. What the hell is going on out there if your riding one of the many shotgun posotions. In my opinion the APC should only be driven by a good squad leader or driven alone.

3) Dune buggies. Anyone remember Zartan and the dreadnaughts from GIJOE? I feel like these guys, great transporation though.

4) Special forces. Very fun going behind enemy lines and blowing up radar stations and UAV's. You can even do it all by yourself. Just be sure to stay hidden so you can keep blowing up the radar station, wish you got more points for it. Plus there primary weapon is bad ass.

5) Sniping. I hated this at first. No 1 shot kill. If you pick a good spot though, countinually bug your commander for airdrops, and just be persistant about it, you can end up pretty damn high up on the scoreboard. I finished 1 game today doing nothing but sniping and ended up 3'd place on team, 65 overall points, 30+ kills. Tip: The hotel looks nifty but it isnt. No one ever runs from the beach to the hotel and you just cant see shit up there torawards teh center. Same witht eh crane.

6) Choppers, planes, medics, no comment at this time.

7) Squad leaders and commanders. I realize were still learning this but if you are going to be the squad leader listen to your guys in the unit and relay that info to the commander. Just hit caps lock and right click your mouse over the desired thing your squadmate is requesting. There should be no need to get on teamspeak and directly ask the commander, if its a warishell guy what you need. I did this and paid for it with my life. No Monos, the box didnt kill me, I was shot but an evil eavesdropper. :(

medics-pretty lousy gun. I wish it was fully auto but good for shooting from a distance. And I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't heal yourself if you were a medic, but if you pull out your medic bag you can. Shockpaddle kills are much more satisfying than knife kills now.

Engineer-the EMC's shotty is like the autoshotty in CS. The recoil is terrible. Makes me want my saiga from DC. Then you'd all be in trouble. :hehehe:

Dune buggies....Better than a machine gun if you catch a group of infantry crossing the beach. Or a few guys trying to bomb the USMC artillery. Run them scrambling beeotches down with your ride. Now that's good stuff.

Special forces....if you climb the crane or the hotel, you can toss C4 down to either the flag pole or hotel spawn are, then sit and wait to detonate. The hotel spawn is an especially fruitful location. They even built a handy gangplank out over the area from which to toss from. But you only have five charges.

Amphib.....MEC side ....Once MEC has taken control of most or all of the onshore spawns, I like to grab one and head half way to the carrier and just hang out. You will find enemy ganged up in rubber boats heading to shore armed only with MG. A single boat kill with your cannon can net a lot of points.

Not a lot of great info here, but it gets me points. Ok. I'm a slime ball.

And it works for me.

support, 200rounds(130 mec), not very accurate but does the job eventually good for supressing groups killing them is another story.

sniper, aim a little higher the farther our you go(m95 is awesome, but requires some serverside modding to play with)

I think my favorite thing to do so far is to be an engineer in a tank. I go someplace where I can get hull down with a clear field of fire either viewing an enemy base or defending one of ours. Roll forward till I can sight on incoming enemies and fire away. When I take dmg I roll back, hop out, repair the tank and repeat. I have ended up at or near the top of the scorebeard a lot this way, really helps keep the enemy out of your bases or helps clear one of theirs to be captured.

Plus, I love the mines. Have I mentioned I love the mines? /waves at Phenix. Watch out for that mine! :)

Man,

I love the fact that Medics and engineers finally get points for doing their jobs, overall EA has done a great job

Couple of things that are going to get better, is the Commander feature and joining Squads......it is new to all of us, and hopefully we will see some guys step up to the role, BTW MajorPayne kicked ass during his time as Commander, GJ........and on another side note Jeff keeps killing me just like in CS, dang it, I can't escape him :hehehe:

Overall I love playing with you WiH guys, you guys are awesome!!!
