Frankly, im not too terribly impressed. Its pretty much the exact same thing but a different engine. Though I do like several of the new features such as -

+ The anti aircraft emplacements are now mounted heat seeking stinger sites.
+ The flying system is much improved. Countermeasures against the missiles are a burst of flares out of the aircraft(cool as shit)
+ SELECTIVE FIRE! woot!
+ Whole new communication interface. F1 is no longer the confirmation(roger, negative) but changes positions in vehicles.

I think ill save the rest for you to find out.

thanks for the info even though i never really played POE lagged too much and i have just been tinkering with it in single player mode to get used to the flying....... but sounds promising still maybe ill find out tonight if i can stay awake long enough anyway hehe

So far I really like it. The graphics turn things up a notch by making things like dust and smoke and fire much more realistic. The sounds are pretty intense. Getting revived by a medic is a hoot.

Unfortunately, I have to work the next two days on the swing shift (1100 to 2300) so I won't be able to play again until Monday :x

Meh. It reminds me of the past two games..1942 and vietnam...i mean even the graphics dont look much different though a little better. I never really liked the battlefield games but I have to say I had a lot of fun playing the demo with everyone here and the new classes are a step up from previous games. I loved being a medic. The demo sucks because you can;t play it unless you have a super uber computer that is less that a year old (or has been upgraded).

Won't accept a Graphics card lower than GeForce 5600 or something

requires a 1.7Ghz fricken processor to run (acccording to EA website).

EA blows. I'll be able to play this game with you all in 3-5 years when I can afford to buy a new comp. Hope to see you on CS:S again sometime...

BTW it runs flawless all details 1024x768 on my comp:

EDIT: I have one gripe.. that would be that the key binding in the options menu is farked.. plus the first time I loaded a map it took nearly 20 minutes.

Well I like it at 40 fps.. which is pretty much what it's at now (guessing)..

Plus my comp doesn't run as well as it should me thinks. Probably frickn norton antivirus.

It's a blast, way better than BFV, the new sqaud system workes really well, and It really adds alot of teamplay that was missing fromt he bast BF games. The graphics are terrific, the character models and shadows are a huge step up from other shooters out there.

but i took off the hub and went straight from modem to pc
not a router like heat said

i have the same set up as skull (ryan)

cox cable
modem to hub hub to pc;s and xbox

firewall off dont help
i added bf2 to exceptions for FW and still nothing

i went to cnets web site to update drivers and they use the same ones from 2002 lol

i go to join and press the game name and it sayd JOINING3 secs later it goes back to lobby/mainpage/browser or i try to connect by pressing "connect to ip" and i use 70.85.202.36 for wih and same thing or it comes back saying someting about network connections.

i will tak a picture or someone else can a post it

i have tried every thing that i can possiable do

I've read reports of similar problems. The people did a system restore to the point before the demo was installed. then they re-installed teh demo. A couple of them said this worked for them and they didn't have any mroe problems.

oh yea, for the connection problem thing, make sure your connection setting in the game is set to cable/dsl and not t1 or greater.

Well... after further playtesting I've come to the conclusion that this game facking OWNS. It's ridiculously good. I can't see any other game coming out this year as being more addictive or packed full of replayability.

I love this game...

Now, if only I wouldn't get "you have a connection problem" for 95% of the friggn servers.. and even servers that I get into, play for a while and then get that error. It's just stupid.

Anyways, this game is fantastic.
Oh and whoever said the graphics arent that good or dif from BFV, ur out of ur skull. This game has the best graphics to date, bar none.

that makes it realistic you cannot sprint forever and also jumping wears you out. and trust me in a combat enviroment you would try to keep running and when the adrenaline is pumping you can go a bit further but there is not an unlimited amount of energy available.
