i just got a new pc with vista on it. had to build a computer desk for my new pc, then get to know vista, run wireless network, install bf2, install patch, try to retrieve account (after a while i found out that antivirus was the problem cuz i could not login to my acc. cuz of a pocket reading..) and then pick a server, loaded in like 0.01 sec. and when im about to pick a spawn point i get kicked for the os priviledges. bummer. i tried to run the game as admin and it works fine, but takes me to a map when i login and do i have to do this every time?? some info please?

also i found the folder of the cache thing, and there are a lot of cfx files... those are the ones that i have to delete? help plz ^^

i was looking for teh old thread on this but couldnt find it.

Just right click the short cut and and set it to run as admin that should fix the OS priv. issue. If you find that PB keeps kicking you out of the game for no reason you may have to manualy update it and that should fix that too.

pay attention to the third link up there. Punkbuster does not like to update automatically when it is used on vista. Every once in awhile you are going to want to use the files from the links in that third thread. It will update your PB manually and it should fix the kicking issue
