WE NEED ALL BF2 PLAYERS HELP!Since the AF server wasn't going anywhere we've decided to make a big push for vanilla!
We need everyone's help. We need to populate this server night and day whenever you can! If you leave the house or go to bed at night, get in and run idle. Every little bit helps!

If we can pop this server every day for the next 30 days, it should take off on itself. We'll start a thread to report your helping to pop it and you will be rewarded with a reserved slot.

I have no problem helping populate the server while I'm playing, just I don't like leaving this computer idle. Its a wonder this six year old peice can even run BF2.

I might be able to get my Linux box to idle in it. My regular PC will turn my room into an oven if I leave it on all day.

Don't you get kicked out after like 20 minutes though for idling?

Not that I've ever seen. I've idled the mod server for server hours on end and never got kicked. And I'm pretty sure I've idled the regular server on several occasions and never got kicked either. But I might be mistaken about the non-mod servers.

you only get kicked for being idle if an admin does it.
