Anyway, back in the day, when I was really computer illiterate, I purchased a computer through ABSPC, good prices and selection. Anyway after about a year the damn board fried, and apparently ASUS discontinued this board for that reason, so I had to send it back to ABS, as they were unable to replace my board, I got a new one, I also paid the extra $130 to up the memory to a gig. Now in the mean time (through School and Drayu's help) I have learned the ability to build a decent machine, so I got it back, plugged it in, it worked, YAY, and sat there, as my new rig is way better(props to Drayu) Anyway about a month ago, my hard drive went KABOOM... on that machine, so I took it out and replaced with an 80Gig Maxtor, but if you know me, I CANT LIVE without my games(known fact), so I started using my ABS pc, and realized the damn thing was getting really hot, well it seems that they forgot to plug all the fans back in... I was so ticked... Anyway from my experience even big companies screw up, all the goods are warrantied, why not do it yourself, I havent decided if I should complain to ABS, maybe they send me frees, doubt it. This got me thinking about this after Bob's post, oh and I learned that having 2 hard drives in RAID format sux.
