BF2 unlockable weapons

SpecOps - The German HK G36C.
Sniper - The American Barrett Model 95M.
Assault - The German HK G3A3.
Support - The Russian PKM general-purpose LMG.
Engineer - The American Jackhammer Mk3A1 automatic shotgun.
Medic - The British Enfield L85A1.
Anti-Tank - AT troops can trade their SMG for The South African Striker combat shotgun (called the DAO-12 in BF2).

How are they unlocked again?

By gaining experience points on a tracked server. When you hit a milestome, you get to pick a weapon to unlock.

Also note, these are preliminaries from what people have seen heard in rumours. I'm sure a few of these are incorrect.

Once you unlock a weapon, you can use on a) EA official servers; b) non-EA ranked servers; c) Public Unlocked servers.

The only time you can't use it is when you play on a Locked Server.

By not being loyal to your loving private server providers <cough>WiH </cough> and giving in to the marketing machine at EA so their executives can get new floor mats for their jaguars.

I dont think unlockable weapons is really going to be all that. Everything I have read says infantry weapons have little to NO kickback whatsoever. Although, I see alot of players complain about this, Jeff has no problem with it whatsoever. Compare for a second, you play counterstrike for six months and master the AK. Then you play POE and your M-4 goes flying into the sky with a 3 round burst. No kickback for BF2 is just fine with me. They should of never made infantry weapons as realistic as they tried to in the first place.

I dont think unlockable weapons is really going to be all that. .50 to chest = organ transplant, .50 to leg = insta gimp, .50 to head = brain salad all over the place.

now medics are going to be sniper bait in this game so bad, they can heal people, well the ever elusive sniper knocks down an enemy soldier, allows medic to run out to heal, shoots medic. that just gives me goosebumbs thinking about it.
