I, like many others, am tired of noobs lamenting. Everyday at some point whether i am on Wih or another server I frequently hear the same thing. "How did he know I was there?" and "how did he hit my head with that speed?" To the noob these things are the impossible but let me assure you they are not. All of the things noobs complain about come much practice over a period of time. Look at grim scythe, he has been playing for five years(from the early cs days). Same for many other players on this server. I myself played Quake 3 arena online for many years, mainly instagib. For those of you who do not know what instagib is, it is a deathmatch game within q3 and UT where you have one gun that is one shot kill. If you played this on one of the space CTF maps like I did for the longest time, you are used to aiming only at a few pixels as quickly as you can. This is the meat of my fps experience.

A few things to take note of in CSS:
-When a smoke has been deployed people can see your muzzle fash when you fire.
-Surround sound is the best in whatever form you can muster it. Use it and your radar to your advantage.
-An ak or deagle hs is on the first hit no matter what, I think a helmet does not matter. I do not remember.
-you can run with a deagle and still have the shots be pretty darn accurate.
-any player once they get fatigued cannot play very well. Yeah, you've seen it where even the greats go 1-1 or 1-2(today it happened to me because i had been playing for several hours) It happens to everyone!
-after a while you realize map timings and where people should be at certain times. Use this to your advantage!

Now, to Aryanar and other people like him. People like you are king of the p90 BS which I have no respect for (sorry). From playing with people like the p90ers and shotgun-skanks people I have had to adjust. I realize the importance of the first shot. With most guns the first shot is the most accurate. If you aim for the head with a powerful enough weapon the enemy will drop like candy from a vending machine. There have been many a time where I am getting sprayed down but keep my composure in order to better aim at the head. Even though half the time when I do this I lose a lot of life I come out victorious because of the extra split second I took. Also, stop bragging about your non-existent skill . It is annoying. You spray and pray, enough said. I have also noted that your worship never does well when the good regulars are on.

Pills, we all love you. You are like the small child none of us ever had or little brother we never had. However, the accusations are getting old.

Another thing that helps is not to look down all the time when you run around. Keep your crosshair head level and be amazed at how many more you get. Sure, it takes some aim and getting used to but, you can handle it, right?

Next, I would like to thank Wihadmin for his continuous level-headedness with accusations of hacking. On other servers I probably would have been banned for life as I have seen in other horror stories.

Alright, I wrote this while playing WOW for the last six hours after my last few rounds of cruddy CSS. It is time for me to kick back and watch my demo with an ice cold BAWLS!!!!!

We dont name names here on this server Estrella. ie- Pills. Also, try not to call anyone a noob, even in the forums. Its bad for overall environment, and as everyone knows, this is the best environment.

I've only been back to CS:WIH for a few days after taking a month long break for Guild Wars. I asked someone who you were since I'd never seen you around before and it was mentioned you've been around for about a month. You've got some skills, but you have to understand that when you showed up, about 35 hardcore regulars took the Guild Wars bait at the same time. Another 15 on top of that started playing Point of Existance greatly reducing their Counterstrike time.

Well...........Guild Wars has run its course for alot of us, and the general consensus is that most of us are picking CS back up in anticipation of BF2. All I can say is watch out when we get back into full form. The level of competition for you is about to go way up.

Here is what i am tired of....... pathetic losers who even though they are awesome at this game choose to play on a server with people that are clearly nowhere near their skill level just so they can feel superior with their 35-5 scores it would be like a pro athelete showing up at a high school game and being surprised when everyone gets mad at them for playing. if you guys are SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO LLLLLLL33333333333333TTTTTTT go play somewhere challenging, otherwise accept the fact that when you come into a public server like WiH you will be accused of hacking and just shut up and don't post crap like this whining about being called a hacker boo hoo hoo, jesus get over yourself.

I play on WiH because of all the skilled players, and because of the company(you guys rock) but at the moment, there's noobs to the server joining and they start to accuse us regulars of hacking which then sparks others to start accusing until it builds up and a regular is under the scope for these accusations.

I think it comes down to if you are under the scope for hacking and SS are taken of you or demos ..just do what is asked with them plea your case and get it over with...if you don't like it..move on...Plain and simple.

First, the people I spoke of were mentioned because they were my accusors. As my comments did not have as much tact as some might of liked. I like everyone else appreciate the atmosphere provided by the great people here however, my comments were to serve as a catalyst, not an insult, to bring about some change. I want accusations to not be thrown around so much because they are not taken lightly here. If you get owned don't whine and call someone a hacker, it is irritating and then they have to be investigated which is time consuming for the player and site admin. However, on this site I do not mind as much because of the great rational admins who tend not to jump to conclusions and are thorouh with the quickness :thumbsup: Grim was mentioned simply because he is g0dly :rockon:

Correction to someone else, I have played here since about december of last year. Not until recently did I join the site though. I do remember the time before guild wars with the regulars so, i am not as naive as you think. I played them and was always 1-1 up to 2-1 against them before I played as often as I do now. Personally, I can't wait till everyone gets back. I always love more challenge!!!!!!!!! :nuts: I <3 it when teams are stacked against me. It forces me to get creative. A challenge is more fun than accumulating stats![/i]

Monos, I come here for several reasons. The level of play is very high for any server out there. The vast majority of regulars that I have played with are very respectable people and the website is great. However, the greatest reasons lie within the admins. Here hackers are quick to be dispelled and admins do not abuse their powers.

This is true. It may not seem possible, but you can get fatigued from playing. I briefly mentioned this phenomenon in my shooting guide. You have to be careful when you're playing after you're fatigued because your form begins to slack. If you continue playing w/ crap technique then you're essentially 'training' to be sloppy. So when you know you're fatigued, you have to put in extra effort to play straight. But just as there was a consquence to playing poorly while fatigued, there's a reward for playing through it -- you'll increase your stamina AND perfect your technique. This is because if you stick to good form while under stress, how much more effective would you be when you're optimal? So it can work for you or against you.

On a side note:

There have been many a time where I am getting sprayed down but keep my composure in order to better aim at the head. Even though half the time when I do this I lose a lot of life I come out victorious because of the extra split second I took.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is not to panic when you're under fire, caught by surprise, ambushed, outnumbered, going against a skilled player, etc etc etc. Keep your cool, Sight, Acquire, Fire, and move on! Adrenaline aside, heart beat aside, do it.

Do it enough, and that "extra split second" will disappear and it'll be reaction.

Again, I briefly mentioned this in my shooting guide, though it was perhaps a little more vague, but this is what I refer to as Rhythm. You'll come to know where to expect people because you'll understand not only the advantageous firing angles you have, but also where theirs are as an opposing player. From that understanding comes great skill.

This was something I had problems with in the beginning as well. I had a bad habit of keeping my crosshair skimming about 20 yards ont he ground in front of me. I got a lot of leg/stomach shots, but that was about it. It was until I forced myself to keep it up over the horizon and at head level that I actually started to get better.

I believe it's a natural tendency because I see it all the time. If you've noticed the player ` Avatar lately, he's my 10 year old brother and has been playing for about half a week now. I've coached him a few times and it's paid off, he can maintain a 1:1 sometimes and I actually saw him with a 22:8 score the other day which is unreal to me.

But he did the same thing, kept his crosshair waaay too low, looking at the ground running around. But as soon as he (I) forced himself (him) to keep it up higher, he started doing a lot better.




Next, I would like to thank Wihadmin for his continuous level-headedness with accusations of hacking. On other servers I probably would have been banned for life as I have seen in other horror stories.


And last but not least, I can't help but say thanks to the admins as well. They offer such a fair and honest server that I can let my younger brother play without worrying about him being hammered or exposed to things he shouldn't be shown.

As I've mentioned in the other thread in the Complaints forum, all hacking accusations should be directed to me via PMs. That way, I can have my admins watch the player discretely while preventing stuff like this from occurring.

We will make a decision based upon what we saw. So the decision could go either way. If you ask us to investigate, we will, but please respect our decision after we concluded the investigation.

These, "you hax, and you hax", things are way outta hand. We all know this server is in toally capable hands and is quite well managed.

Report a suspicion, and let it go.

I myself, am soo very tired of hearing, "Atomic Bob is a hacker", that it is almost unbearable. But I keep my chin up, knowing that what I do whan I go 8-0 is all leet and no BS gods.

So all you nube cannon shottie whores out there can just hush up. Be pwned as you and I should be and deal with it. Whether it be my pwnning or someone elses, I say perhaps your own skills are in question, not the guy kickin your butt.

If I were to put in question everyone that "saw me around a corner" or "head shot me three in a row", I would be calling out half the kickass players on this server.

I sux bad. And lots of bad things happen to me every day. I can see these things happen to me virtually every round. But at the most I talk some smack in my own defense and let the ass kickers kick ass like they deserve. I'll get their butts once in a while and then I unlease the huge smack. :flipoff: And then....they can kiss ol spot. They got haxors by Bob. I don't do knives yet, but the nade is a close second in my bok.

If you are getting beaten down, and/or embarrased, I say look very closely before you make accusations. Perhaps the only thing suckin at the moment is you. (I know, that hurts)
