Who's getting BF2?

Release is a mere 3 weeks away, and the demo is prolly about 1 week away. I'd like to get a count of who's getting BF2 so that we know how big to make the demo server for.

But I figure I am going to go ahead and spend the next three weeks outside. That's right-I'm not coming inside (well maybe to play a couple rounds of CS) but I will endure the hot and cold and will sit out in the rain until BF2 comes out so my girlfriend came give me any sh*t about spending the next three months indoors playing BF2!! :hump:

From the looks of the poll, we'll have 30-36 regulars here that'll play BF2. Once the demo comes out, we'll see if we can set up a 40-player server running 64-player version of the map.

Don't forget the regulars that we have aquired that come to the server on a regular basis, plus the A clan, etc... it is all good :thumbsup:

Good point Gorro. Our plan is to start at a 32-40 player server and then increase the player limit. As much as EA's touting 64-player servers, I have my doubts about it. They have always advertised bf42 and bfv as being able to run 64-player servers. In practice, once you get past the 32-player limit, performance starts to suffer. Sure you can have a 64-players server but it'll be a slide show. We'd rather have 2 smaller good performing servers than 1 large one.
