Best driving game I've ever played. The gameplay is incredibly intense.

I just had to post this after playin the demo.. it's just too damn sweet.

This is THE best racing game I've ever played.

They put so much detail into the game, especially the in-car views.

And if u've got a sweet spot for cool replays and replay functions, this game provides ALL the bells n whistles.

If u like driving games and don't get this demo, ur clearly an idiot :P

The only "racing" game I play is Burnout 3. I'm not a huge fan of them otherwise.

forza motorsport....raceing simulation..so real........hard to leanr though..turn off TCS, stability control and abs, much easier.

driving a 1999 impreza 2.5RS with a EJ20t 2.0L DOHC 16V engine in it, plus top everything, accelerates from 0 - 60mph in 2.3 seconds top speed of 315.9, i can out accelerate an enzo and if i'm not careful go into a 4 wheel burnout of the start line.

had to switch the unit over(yea i use metric), 600+ hp, 605ft/lb of torque

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with Cross Racing.

I really preferred the Richard Burns Rally demo. I'd like to order it, but every time $40 heads my way I've got better things to buy like Forza, Battlefield 2, or even my newest secret shame hobby, Hero Clix.

In terms of utter realism, I did import GTR. Holy mother of God. I'm pretty good at racing games, but if I play in anything but Arcade mode I get pretty much raped every race. Sigh. Those Europeans aren't freaking kidding about their racing sims!

At this point, I'm too busy to really try CRC again. I still own but have not finished:

Half Life 2
Halo 2
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Forza (although even 100% in the game wouldn't really finish it for me)
Doom 3

Stupid games. Not enough time to play them all :)

I bought the full game or Richard Burns.. got extremely monotonous after a while.. not a good purchase. This on the other hand is extremely intense and in ur face.

Did u try the in-car driving view? How about the replays and all the dif camera angles as well as options?

If so and u still don't like it, I guess we're just not on the same page in terms of racing games : P

Well, I prefer my games as close to a simulation as possible.

As an example- since GTR didn't come to the US I played the demo over and over and over for 6 months or so. A couple cars and only one course. I just loved the realism of it. So Richard Burns I like because of the sim aspect.

Ah I see.. well, we're not completely on opposite sides of the spectrum but I did find the GTR demo pretty boring after about 20 minutes.
Richard Burns was great, but it didn't tickle my fancy for long enough.. guess I needed more action and intensity : P

macree rally 05 was pretty good, but one of the best ones i think was rallysport challenge.

Meh.. I've played all of them and I still think this is the most intense without being very arcadey.
