Pistols on Dust

Hi all,

I got the chance to play dust today with the new pistols only rule. To tell the truth, I voted no in the poll, but after playing it, it is actually a good rule. The action was still pretty intense and there was more of a rush on both sides and less camping. The t's ended up winning I believe. Pretty good new rule.

Just my opinion for the admins.

I hate it :\... I had so many kills stolen from me... I would damage people for 90+ and then somebody else would shoot once with an elite from a mile away or something and get the kill.

I like pistols only it seems to make the map move faster and with the fact that this map only allows 25 people in a 32 people server we need it to move faster. I vote we keep it this way or dump the map.

I'm with Knott on this. The map was always terribly one sided towards CT. I know we were hoping that by taking the sniper weapons out we could even it out, but it appears we needed more restrictions.

I think we should limit it to FOOD only. Ct's are also restricted on Pies.

Next step: CT restricted to Night Vision only. Nothing else. T's will have all available weapons! :yaya:

Redy what more restrictions would u need the awp,auto sniper(which i am very happy they r) have been takin out as u said i just dont know what u mean by more restrictions all the rest of the weapons are evened out on the teams?? just wondering if u meant it to be a joke woops for asking lol. :wallbash:

I said "we needed more restrictions," past tense like in the change from rifles to pistols only. That's why we had the vote, and no doubt a majority of the regulars thought the same. Now the question is does it stay, and I'm just agreeing with Knott that it does need to stay the way it is.

I personally really hate the pistols only. But I also voted against it. It doesn't feel right. I think the T's had a better chance with AKs.

Use a deagle like I do. I suck with pistols, but 2 kills around isnt bad.

Dust2 is a T map for sure. We might allow CT's to buy the AWP on that map, but T's can't.

yea, i always get bummed when i show up in the server and its dust2 with no open spaces. it is fun to play on tho, so i think it should stay. anyway, i love the pistols only, t's were actually smart tonight and faked us out a couple of times (rush underpass, ct's go there, bomb and 3 others take out rest at a and they win :wallbash: )

Not a fan on pistols only.. Pistols and Shotguns maybe...
