p2p Programs

What's a good p2p program to use? I'm getting sick of KaZaa, half the stuff I try and find doesn't exist and the program has a tendency to quit whenever you test play a file.

i use a program called ares, which u can find on downloads.com, just search for it.

also, you could try using a torrent program. there's always bittorrent, or u could use azureus, which is what i use. both of these can be found on downloads.com as well.

I used to use limewire pro back in the day, worked real nice, better then kaz imo, but that was moons ago.

yea it does that for me too, but so do all the other torrent programs i have tried. my friend runs azureus, and for him it runs like 300k/s, but for me it only runs like 10k/s. i still don't know how or why it does that (i just think the internet hates me :dunno: )

I use the free limewire, I think it's great.

I have about 3,000 songs dl from Limewire. I used to use Morpheus, but it sucks compared to limewire and it put some adware on my computer. :wallbash: Limewire is the way to go.

BitTorrent is the greatest thing ever, if you know exactly what you're looking for and where to find the torrent. I look for unlicensed anime, which is easy to find. dunno about programs, games, etc though. never really searched for any.

Ok, I have spenty some time reserching this and found that the goverment has a tag on all Torrent files out there. If you use bit torrent or any other torrent P2P then you have been marked. My P2P file sharer was bit spirit ands they closed that down. Limewire has a crap load of spyware and kazza has some to. Morphious sucks ***. I use Win MX. It has almost no spyware but its database is a little smaller. My recomendation would be Win MX or Bear Share. Bear Share is a good medium with spyware and ease of use. Keep in mind that all P2P systems come with some spyware and a posability of alot of viruses.
