Hey guys
I did these radio commands for a Total Conversion I was working on for UT2004, but they never were implemented in the alpha that got released. My voice clips were edited by the team sound engineer and sound quite good if you ask me.
I thought I'd post em up here for you're enjoyment.
I'm using these sounds in CSS myself.
Think of my Duke Nukem voice, cleaned up and more tactical/badass and you've got an idea of how these sound.
Still, to clarify... yes, this sound pack is actually good, despite the fact that the voice acting is actually done by me and you probably think I sucks donkey balls.
Please do me a favour and try them out. You can just test them out in Winamp first if you want, before installing them.
Thanks!
LINK UPDATED (thanks Tyk): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=X6LT2I7Y
Installation:
Unrar contents into C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\your account name\counter-strike source\cstrike\sound
If the 'sound' folder doesn't exist, create it.
If you don't like the sounds, then just delete the whole 'radio' folder.
Feedback would be appreciated

Those were not to bad. :D
I'm assuming the static was on purpose.
Actually your voice is a perfect voice over....maybe the EOD or PRMM need a voice actor :dunno:
All ribbing aside....... It is pretty freaking awesome

Thanks guys
I just wish I'd recorded more clips in order to replace all the radio sounds. I still talk to that sound engineer, actually, so I might be able to get some more done.
Either way, this pack overwrites the ones that are most frequently used.
Glad you guys like it ;)
BTW the sounds were originally done for these characters in the mod Hackerz (I did the skins/textures for them :D):

These are good for CS. I like them! Though, they bug up sometimes and cut out half-way. Might just be my compy.
i was playing cs with these, and it was...
so weird.
filthy kept saying "fire in the hole" like, 3-4 times in a row, so i got rid of it lol

this makes me want to record people on ts (like flim saying duallies) and having everyone say different things and having the sounds keyed for different things (similar to the oh-so-familiar "HEADSHOT" sound)

Lmfao filthy i freaking love you man. seriously, you're a riot. those clips are awesome. it sounds like something that would be in an actual video game. maybe your path in life should be that of a video game voice actor. <3

So, I went to look for this sound pack on my external HDD after people asked me to up it again.
Apparently I'm a fucking dumbass and deleted it for no apparent reason. I'm not very happy about that.
Does anyone who downloaded it before still have it on their PC still?
I delete things all the time in haste, but this one is just so very, very stupid.
