Where I've been for the last couple months...

So I got Guitar Hero 1 and 2 just a bit before christmas (slightly after WiH went GG:upyours: ) and basically I've been consumed by it since. Slash and I have wasted hundreds of hours attempting to master the games. I've beaten every song (including bonus songs) on both games on EXPERT with the exception of the following tracks:

Guitar Hero:
Cowboys From Hell - Pantera

Guitar Hero 2:
Hangar 18 - Megadeth
Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd (locked until I beat Hangar 18 :thumbsdown: )
Less Talk More Rokk - Freezepop
Jordan - Buckethead
Six - All That Remains

Talk about an awesome game for the music enthusiast!

So many of my friends are obsessed with that game...
It's one of few non-mmorpg games that everyone is getting hooked on.


On top of that PS2 sales are higher then PS3 sales now just because of these games


I didn't get much time with it on the PS2 so I might get it on the Wii (it's official) just so I know what you peoples are talking about.

:dunno: Does this play like Simon, ie. do you have to fret the colored buttons on the neck in a certain order? Picking those tunes in real life doesn't require topshelf skill, but trying to remember a button sequence on 5 frets and not actually manipulating the strings seems like a waste of energy. Gimme the real deal, and Eric Johnson's "Cliffs Of Dover" FTW. :thumbsup:

guitar hero II is the shit..i am stuck on hard....i can only get about 3 stars on most of them though..i have finished about 8 songs on xpert but still only able to get 3 stars..if you can do that or better you are bad ass

i felt like a real champ holding the guitar hero controller on my left leg like a classical. yeah, i can see that it's fun, but i'll take my guitar over it any day
