Sorry, Rainbow Six pretty much does it for me with tactical shooters. I like the indoorsy up close stuff more than the outdoorsy infantry stuff. Plus I just bought the 360 racing wheel and my wife would murder me if I spent any more $$$.

I was thinking about passing on this as well. I am getting a little burned out on these shooters. I haven't quite decided for sure.

I like test drive unlimited but there has to be some new ones coming. I don't think I am going to like Forza 2 since the only thing I know about cars is how to drive one.

Well I picked it up against my better judgement and now I wish I hadn't. Every game I start it freezes up. I took the first one I got back thinking maybe it was a bad disc, no dice, this disc freezes as well. None of my other games have any issues. The damn game had a patch the minute I put the thin gin as well and I wonder if that is what screwed it up. Man what is it with the major game developers lately? They cannot seem to release a game without bugs anymore.:wallbash:

I found out from the xbox live forums that several people are having this problem. It sounds as if it maybe related to how old your Xbox360 is and the DVD drive that it has in it and that MS was looking into it. :dunno:
Most people said they can still play MP but the single player campaign is FUBAR.

Just out of curiosity can you guys tell me what you dvd tray looks like. Is the tray black or grey. There is a theory that the phillips dvd drive which has a black tray is working fine and the grey ones which are toshiba and LG are the ones having troubles.

Well based on what helpline is telling me my xbox is dying and guess what it is out of warrenty. Hmmm, pay $140 to have it fixed and be without for how ever long it takes and trust that they can actually fix it or drop $300 on a core system and have it right away? Tough decision. I guess the other thing to do is sell the old console and all my games and stop playing games all together.

What are you going to do with yourself if you don't play games?

I don't know maybe at 41 years of age it's time to get a life.

Yeah your right Ichi, I am happy enough and that's all that counts. I ended up buying a new core system since they are only $299 now and bought the 2 year replacement from Best Buy for $40. I played the GRAW2 for 2 hours and no freeze ups. The new machine was manufactured in 12/2006 adn the old was in 01/2006 so I am convinced that this GRAW2 taxes the older systems to the hilt and overheats them until they freeze. I haven't decided what I am going to do with my old system. Maybe a donation to WiH for the next prize? We shall see.:dunno:

I like it. I played it the other day, and had a great time. Ordering your squad around is fun, and they follow orders a heck of a lot better than some of the slackers in BF2!!

My service, granted it was warranty, only took a week total. They seem pretty fast with this stuff. Also, check your options they extended the warranties in January I believe.

MS changed their processes to handle the broken 360's. I think the current turn around time is 5 working days. You get your's back fixed. I think that's a great move by MS for damage control.
