VAC2 is not out yet. The VACbeta only tests connectivity which did brought out some bugs where players couldn't connect due to firewall settings.

Recently i have seen random names popup on screen and say that this player has been detected with hax on their computer and will be banned. I noticed how all of those names looked extremely similar in text with a clan tag before and some other tag after. WTF is that?!?! ive never seen those players b4 much less heard of them. Is that just VAC telling us AND the other servers at thee same time, Is that player actually trying to login to WiH specifically, or is VAC just showing us how it will work? :dunno: Please do tell. :hehehe:

That is our aftermarket cheat detection program. Those notices comes up right before the hacker is auto-banned from our server. It's been catching about 5-6 hackers per day.

Just another preventative measure we take to ensure your enjoyment of the game.

Next time you see that it banned someone, shoot a couple of rounds into the air to celebrate. :D

So can they see what everyone else sees saying that they have been detected with hacks are going to be banned? Because the other day this guy had a speed hack on, managed to get a couple kills in, then I see that big message pop up saying he's going to be banned so I started laughing and talking sh*t. I wonder if he could see that...

Yes. the messages are displayed to everyone. Some of them discon when they see the first message. The effect is the same. They're not playing on our server! :)
