Did you guys see the news about the tsunami that it Thailand, India, and the other countries? I was like :-O the whole time watching the news.

East coast of the US isn't immune either. I saw a show on the Discovery Channel a while back about some volcano in the canary islands that could slide into the ocean the next time it errupts, causing a huge tsunami headed for the U.S. East coast.

22,000 + last i heard, sir lanka was hit the hardest for deaths.

One of the worst things about it hit Sir Lanka, is all the land mines the goverment used in there fight with the Tamel Tigers, got washed away.
But not washed away in a good sences, because they are now spread all over the place, and no one knows what area.

Unlike before where they had a slight idea, this along with over things is not helping.


wosrt Tsunami in history was in 1785 (ish) when one hit Lisbon (portugal)
and killed over 60,000.

Yeah it sux what happened over there, and I hope the relief effort with that goes well, as it seems to be but I dont keep up with the news enuff so I dunno.

As for the East Coast thing, dammy, why'd I have to move to VA now Im closer argh

What's the latest with relief efforts? Are they getting food/water/shelter yet?
