So Valve released an update last nite that screwed up a lot of stuff. Between then and now, they released another update that undone the changes made except for the changes on de_inferno.

wow whats not to love about wihadmin. hes such a friendly and lovable guy to all those around him. HAHAHA, anyway, im sure valve will get their shat together one day.....good luck to dealing with them for now

What Valve did with this latest set of updates was improving the menu selection. So they changed their comm protocols in such a way that broke all the admin plugins that any decent servers were running. Having realized that after the outcry of the plug-in authors, Valve issued a statement saying that the way the authors were using the admin menus and map voting menus were "hacks". Then Valve released the last patch with undone their "menu selection improvement", which basically allowed the menus to work properly again. However, Valve will be sending out another update next week which will break the menus again. So the plugin authors are trying to find a different way to do their menus.

Our servers were crashing b/c of either the menu's or the knifekill sound. I have disabled both for now to see how long the servers will stay alive. then I'll turn back on each to each if it crashes the servers or not.
