Hey guys.
I think that pretty much everyone suffers from lag occassionally, however, I lag seems to have made me it's best friend.
I usually have a good ping and such---but I lag out in buildings and bombing areas. I have excellent play on servers with less than 20 players.
Any thoughts, or should I just deal with it and wait for Battlefield 2.

Some computer specs could help us determine the problem...

Are we talking about CS? Some of the maps in CS:S just create a lot of problems for everybody, regardless of the computer.

Duckman plays POE.
I get lag too. The odd thing is I've been monitoring our POE server and none of the resources is being consumed to the point that it would be causing lag. WIth that said, I'm convinced that it is BFV's netcode engine that is inefficient.
For me, POE lags on Sabre at the middle when there are tanks and planes around. The bombs also cause lag for me. I also noticed that I lag more when I'm inside tanks. If I jump out and go on foot, the lag either goes away or reduces significantly. In addition, I have reduced some of my audio settings down. I also reduced the graphical details down quite a bit.
Post your computer specs Duckman.

That is just caused by the "BF:V" crap engine. Massive Resource Hog.

If you haven't tweaked your BFV yet, there are many tweaks that can help. I don't suffer lag usually, unless 1: The woman decides to upload pics to snapfish 2: The woman decided to print 3: The woman decides to download something. I tweaked my game alot to get it to work right, it may just be a matter of doing that, oc'ing your memory, oc'ing your video card, and possibly oc'ing your processor.....but....lets see your specs first.
