Yes but you will get booted when the AF map somes up in the rotation.

WHen do you get AF. I have noticed they dont sell it in stores. The only thing I can find is that ea has a new thing called "EA LINK". It looks like a wanabee steam. Do I have to use that to get AF or are there other ways.

thats how i got it. i dont know of any retail discs.

I have played with some of you on the IO server and I usually just lerk on the your forums. I have played with the GOD squad several times and they rock.

I am looking forward to the new van/af server and have two buddies that have played with me on the IO server that are also excited about the new IO/AF server. They are good guys =GzR=DIABLO68666 and =GzR=1stingray.

I will be watching to help populate.

after downloading it for me, I bought the cd for my boyfriend.
yes, it lets you install, but before you can play, it takes you online where you have to "unlock" it for your account only...

if you figure it out, let me know if it works, cause I still have AF only, where the cd has both and I have the cds, but unlocked with my b-friends acct.

I played yesterday a couple of games on the new server, and tonight only one.
Unlike the I/O server, the atmosphere here was not nice at all.

A lot of teamkilling (i witnessed 2 tonight, and was TKed myself in only one game, and I wasn't even close to flying objects), base raping (base being the one and only spawn point). No, I didn't have fun at all. I'll stay at the I/O server, and when I feel like vanilla, I must say, I will go somewhere else.

Yes, I am sorry to say TKing is very prevalent in vanilla. Boys and their toys.

I am also sorry you didn't enjoy yourself on the server.

We try to be everywhere, but just can't. I hope you will give the vanilla server another try in the future.

Unfortunately you got on last night when most if not all the admins were off. I am sorry you found it to be frustrating or the atmosphere wrong. Were there any admins on TS? If so, then report behavior you see, if not, then you caught a bad moment.

We have some of the most actively adminned BF2 servers out there, so when you go to those other vanilla servers you will find much worse. I will keep the I-told-you-so in my pocket for then.

And until then, we will keep an extra eye out for the asshats. Vanilla BF might not be for you, but you should consider reserving judgement until you have a few more gaming sessions under your belt.

The other thing is you can report them in the bf2 forum Watch List thread. Screen shots are helpful too.

Also, since this is a new server ppl think they can get away with anything. They will soon learn that we dont put up with that crap. It will get better.

The admins have been put on alert too. They have their ban sticks ready to strike!!!
