This has to be a joke. Even if the zones were incorrect. No one knew how powerful the blast was going to be or that Mt. St. Helens would blow itself up and spew ash across the entire North Western States...

Does this mean if a tidal wave hits the coast of California and we had no warning that we could sue the state of California for a lack of warning and for endangering our lives, even if we knew the risks? This is like the families of the Nimitz Highway collapse during the '89 Quake sueing the state for the earthquake and saying the structure was insecure.

(hint: it's centered in wyoming and is rough 1/4 the size of the US)

did anybody see that movie/documentary show on the descovery channel about that super volcano? It was quite interesting, and in the movie the united states was blanketed in ash, but people fleeing into mexico were safe, hmmm I live 20 miles from the border, WOOT!
