Blah. This kinda sucks since all my records are on the other account, but I dont have my own copy of source I downloaded it and my friend was letting me use his account because he never plays but for some reason the password isn't working and he can't log in either when I asked him to check it out so he's going to do something with his CD key or something to try to retrieve the password but he told me to try another account which I did but it says the steam ID is banned so o_o. I dunno. Maybe an admin could send me a PM?

It wont let me log onto the steam account which I have been using to play here. When I got my new comp which was like two weeks before I started playing here (my old comp could play 1.6 but not source or any other high requirement games) my friend started to play WoW a lot and he let me use his account. I started out on the BBC server which is a clan I used to play with but no one was ever on there and they all play NWN, WoW, etc my friend Rich told me to try out this server and thus here I am.

So anyways I was on last night and it was fine but when I tried logging on just now after coming home from school it tells me wrong password. So i called my friend up and asked him to try to log on. Same problem. He's been trying to fix it but hasn't had any luck. He told me to use his other account but the problem is with that account but on his other account he's let other people use it before. Only he and I knew the pw for his main account which is the one messed up. On the account he has let other people use before when I tried logging onto the War Is Hell server it told me the steam ID was banned. Thats why I made this post.

The steamid you provided was banned from all 3 servers a long long time ago. We don't have the log files from that far back so we can not tell who it was or why. What ever it was, it must have been pretty severe to get banned from all servers. Unfortunately, we can not unban this SteamID for you, Persephone.

Thats okay I'll just have to see if my friend can get his other account back. I dont think i'd feel comfortable using his other one knowing so many people know the password for it.

Maybe i'll have to buy my own copy if it comes down to that though ill have to wait awhile till i get some money...

No, nothing happened to the computer. I was saying I got this computer around a few weeks before I joined this server and since I was able to move on from 1.6 finally to source my friend let me use his account because he had stopped playing CS to play WoW because he's addicted to WoW lol and never gets off of it.

Up until last night i've had no problems with the account. It was working fine when I played last night but when I tried to log on to Steam today it told me the password was wrong. I called him up and he tried and got the same issue. He tried doing the 'lost account' option and it said it'd send him a confirmation email which he never recieved.

He bought the game off ebay awhile ago so it's not like he can return it to the store either. So he told me to try his other account which is the one which was banned but he also let several other people use that account in the past which is the one you said was banned from all 3 servers which is the one i said thats okay i understand you cant unban it and i wouldnt feel comfortable using something i know so many people have access to anyways. x_x

So thats the problem at the moment. Steam isnt sending any confirmation email and a few people have said that since he got it off ebay its possible the cd key was given to other people.

I might just buy a cd key off ebay myself and hope the same issue doesnt happen though because im a CS addict. =P I mean i could go under other servers with the other account until things get figured out but its just not the same.

Go to a shop and just buy it. If you need to, trade in games. These bastards that sell on eBay are probably spreading that key throughout the web. Shell out the $50 for it... If you can't afford it, I'll buy one for you and ship it to you.

x.< No you can't do that Lol. and yes, I agree its possible he got ripped off because he bought the keys off ebay. ive bought a lot of stuff off ebay game wise like guild wars and other games in the past and havent had any problems with them personally. I only pick people who have 100% feed back or else my mom would kill me since its her account Lol. Don't worry about it. right now i am looking at one on ebay that is brand new factory sealed. current bidding price is $8.50 and it ends in 6 hours. person has 100% feed back and has shipped out like 200 things in the past month. no negatives or neutrals in 12 months. ^.^

Well since i'm buying a factory sealed copy I promise i will. ^.~ if i win the bid in 6 hours (some of those bastards do it like a second after you when its ending) im going to get it send priority which is 2-3 days because i cant wait 4-7 :O!! soooo hopefully by friday or saturday ill be able to play again yay. until then ill just have to level on guild wars and bug you all on team speak.
