I don't think Square is on board for Xbox... I think it is just the original creator of Final Fantasy is making 2 exclusive titles.

And after that disaster of a "special" on MTV... I am thinking the PS3 will be the best (NOTE: I AM NOT SAYING I WILL ONLY BUY THE PS3).

no matter how butt ass ugly, and useless looking it is ?

from what i gather, sonys exclusive contract with square has run out(and square didn't get a new one) considering they made 5 titles for sony.

I don't think it looks ugly... but the look of the console isn't what matters.

I don't think it looks ugly... but the look of the console isn't what matters.the controller looks like a double penetration device. and the fact that it vibrates makes that much much worse.

It looks sleek and sexy like the future. Can't blame them for changing the controller as they would get sued again if they didn't.

Xbox360 looks like a portable hard drive.

I doubt Square-Enix would sign with Microsoft given their relationship with Sony is in good standing and they seem to very much enjoy working with PS2/3 and PSP. It would be foolish for them to make games for the 360 when the PS3 has a much greater market in Japan, which is where SE makes most of its money. Besides, the PS3 is also a much more powerful machine, Microsoft knows this and they are going to release the 360 before PS3 to try to get a head start which I feel may go the way of the Dreamcast but probably wont totally fail due to the hardcore Xbox Live fans.

Square Enix definitely didn't sign up with Microsoft... One of the PS3 demos was a redo of part of the intro of FFVII... soo... yeah.

from what i can tell, squares exclusive contract with sony has run out, so they are going to release on all consoles. not exclusively the 360.

and advent children has been in creation for the last couple years.

He isn't talking about Advent Children but rather the FFVII tech demo that was shown. Square says they are not remaking the game and I don't doubt them knowing their track record, but just the same I wouldn't be suprised if they have something up their sleeve because why not make some other tech demo of something new instead of going to FFVII? Perhaps Square-Enix is becoming smart and realize they could make a ROYAL killing if they remade FFVII...and if they do, one can only keep his fingers crossed for a Chrono Trigger remake. But like I said, I doubt they will.

Yeah, their contract ran out but their main focus will be PS3 and I doubt there will be any 360 exclusive games.
