Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for my next headset. The right side of my current headset (Logitech Premium USB Headset 350) died last night. I am proud to say this is the first headset that I have owned that has not met its end through...how shall I put it...gaming related angst.
My biggest problem with the logitech headset is that it seems very flimsy. It can be dropped from a sitting position on to a carpeted floor and have damage caused to it fairly easilly. It is also quirky and a little unreliable, my last one was a bit of a lemon. The LED indicating whether it was live or not was broken right out of the box (I know, I know, I should have returned it). While fiddling with the wire to get it out of a USB port it actually partly sheered slightly from itself, requiring a duct tape job to keep it one piece. It is also not a great quality of sound. It's not bad either, but I am sure I can do better.
I have googled and checked the usual websites I go to, but I haven't been able to find a good review of headsets so I thought I would turn to the WiH community. What do you use? What have you heard is good? Have you seen online side by side reviews in the sits you go to?
Thanks for your help,
Crock
P.S. Time to go update the WiH stats page to add to the headset total.
