POE map pack

Point of Existence had a map contest and they bundled the best 19 into a downloadable package.

The top five look really good.

first one looks fun for sure. the others are probably all great, but it's hard to tell from a single pic, except when it's of a city :D .

They even now ported the vanilla maps. It was good fun playing Mashtuur as the Germans.

How's POE2 doing as a mod?

Don't know. I have been thinking about starting it up again.

PR is fun, but I hate long spawn times.

Map Pack is only 265 meg, I am downloading it now.

I don't know about POE, maybe it is b/c we were over excited for it. I like the long spawn times, gives me a reason to be more careful and have medics around!

This is not good. Whenever I try and load a new map, I CTD.

the old maps still run fine, but the new ones crash. It doesn't matter if its singleplayer or create you own.

in that case hes exactly right..
prmm is the bf2 mod of choice for me, hands down. i like poe2, but apparently i really like reality mods. thats what fh is to bf'42 and fh is my favorite bf'42 mod. :dunno:

i am going to download the mappack, cant hurt having the maps in case i get onto a server running them. new maps are always good.

i need to reinstall poe2 altogether.

I like the new maps. Some are better than others. The best one suffers from a problem with BF2 where you have to jump up curbs and so ur out of stamina all the time. PRMM is great for what it is and POE2 is great when you want a more quick arcade type game. I play them both regulary. POE2 is alittle light fun where PRMM is more intense fun. To me atleast. PRMM is much more rewarding IMHO.

I still couldn't get the new maps to work. The ported ones work fine, but none of the new ones.

Gah, I dunno. My problem is I just don't enjoy PRMM. I just can't get into it and normally force myself to play. It is fun with you guys though. I'd like to see POE2 played more as I really enjoy it. So, in my current FPS situation, I have just went back to FH for 1942. My favorite mod ever and I am still addicted. :mgduck:
