Hello,

Ever since I got HL2 and therefore CSS I have not been able to play on the Inferno map. When I try to join a game I am told my map differs from the servers. Do I need to reinstall CSS or is there another solution (such as a place to get the actual map and copy it over the current map file in my CSS directory) any help on this would be greatly appreciated as now that we have De_Port and Inferno going 24/7 on one of the servers I can no longer enjoying being killed by all of you! Thanks!

You must have had a custom map de_inferno on your client previously. Delete that file and join a server, it should download the right one.

Thanks, I have no idea how I got it but I appreciate the help. Now the question is, how do I do that? Do I go into the cstrike/map directory and delete de_inferno.bsg and de_inferno.nav or is it a little more complicated than that? Thanks again for your help!

Find anything that saids de_inferno and delete them. That's what I did to fix mine.
