I didn't know that. A friend of mine just forwarded me a link to the video. Pretty shocking to think that someone would ram the bikes knowing full well the consequences on the bikers.

sometimes theres some really negative shit on bigboys - you can watch people getting shot, really bad car accidents, on and on. that stuff happens more than we know and sometimes it gets caught on tape.

i try not to soak myself in stuff like that because it doesnt put my head where i want to be. i really hope those cyclists are ok, but i choose not to let that occupy my consciousness and shape my Now.

You know, I hate cyclists. But that's because they are rude as hell out here and don't follow the rules of the road.

In Woodside, you can have the entire road blocked by cyclists. You honk or ask them nicely to move and they curse you out. I'm not a fan of cyclists out here. But as I said, a lot of them are jerks.

Also, on Highway 92 coming back from the coast (Half Moon Bay) you watch psycho cyclists fly down the mountain/hill going faster then the cars and it's the kind of area that one wrong move and you fly for thousands of feet off the cliff.

You know, I hate cyclists. But that's because they are rude as hell out here and don't follow the rules of the road.

You must live in a whacked out area. I'm a motorcyclist. I follow the rules of the road. I ride within my safety limit and is conscious of the safety of the people around me. With that said, I do ride faster (+10 mph) than the rest of the traffic flow, when it's possible, not bc I like to go fast, but b/c it is safer since an object that is moving the same speed as everyone blends in with the traffic. When I ride faster, people tend to notice me more and I don't get killed.

However, it is easy for everyone to lump all cyclists into the same category. It's like stereotyping. Hey, you're Asian. You must know Kung Fu.
