There was some dude on #2 last night using aimbot-wallhack... but he was trying to be subtle about it. After getting two 4 kill rounds by headshotting people through walls with duelies, he got called out and toggled it off. He promptly died every round after that until he left. I shoulda picked up his Steam_ID.

The biggest thing that worries me is people playing with hacks and trying to hide them. It was all over the place when I left CS before, around 1.4, and I don't want to see it come back. The game is SO MUCH MORE FUN when people don't skirt the rules.

We are trying our best to keep out the hackers from WiH servers, fireballs. If you see someone you believed is hacking, get their steamid, and we'll investigate it. However, we do not act upon every claim of hax, b/c sometimes people that just got owned will cry haxor. :)

ya, I just wasn't thinking at the time.

Some people can't tell the difference. I can.

There are certain signs that you can tell. Depends on how long you have been playing CS. Watching someone line up perfectly with someone before they round the corner is a pretty damn good sign of a wall hack. Aim Bots are grossly noticeable at times, especially when they start spinning in circles headshotting everything.

I come from a time with some others that most of CS players were hacking and there wasn't a whole lot anyone could do. You learned how to adapt to that after a period of time. Some Aim Bots that aim for the head you can counter by crouching, etc...

Yeah lmao, remember the colored sprays? The four-square with red, green, yellow, blue? That got a bunch of aimbotters busted. When I was drawin' heat from a suspected hax0r, I'd spray that on the wall behind me. Sometimes they couldn't stop shootin the wall, lmao.

And yeah, some aimbots have problems aiming at people in different positions. Some are slow too, sometimes if you bait the aimbotter with some poor nub, you can squeeze in a HS sometimes yourself. It's been pretty effective for me against hax0rs in cs:s. Got have a quick trigger finger, and sometimes they're just too darn fast.

The biggest thing I watch for is their crosshairs jerking to locations that aren't really logical.

I've been playing for a while now... maybe 2, 3 years. I've got a pretty good idea of what players are thinking when I watch them 1st person.

I can't really tell if someone is hacking if they are GOOD at using their hacks, or even worse, good players using hacks.

But it's pretty easy to tell when someone who is clueless is using performance enhancing programs, if you just look for behavior that doesn't make sense.
