I would love to see a portal with last posts and other information (NEWS etc.) on this page. let me know if you don't know where to get it from.
to the teamspeak info thread, can you please add the info in which channel should we go, because in the bf2 channel I don't see an admin, and I'm not sure if he can hear me if I speak in another room.
thx a bunch.
the rest of the forum, thumbs up!:thumbsup:

You can see lasts posts by going to the Quick Links --> Todays Posts. That will show you he latest posts of the day. If you want to just check posts which you have replied to, to see if others have responded, you can check those posts in your User Control Panel. The news posts on the front page are also usually posted (or automatically show up) in the Announcements thread and will also show up under Today's Posts.
The channels in TS are pretty self explanatory no? The Admins sometimes stay in the Admins on Duty channel and if they are up there, you need to switch to that channel. Otherwise, people typically idle in the channel appropriate (-ly named) game channel.

Couple rules on TS:
If you are AFK, then please go down to the away channel.
Don't sit in the lobby, get in the game channel that you're playing. I noticed the (FR) crew has been using lobby for gaming. Did you guys forget your channel password? LMK if you need a reset.
Use push to talk, not Voice-activated.
I'm beginning to think Supergirl's a pseudo-girl bc everytime I ask if she's around in TS, she never answers.

@multiplex
thanks for the tips, I am very familiar with various board softwares, but having a portal is somehow nicer. and once you paid for the vb licence, it is just the matter of which portal to implement. the installation is easy and self-explainatory ;)
@admin
one day I will hear it and answer. thanks for clearing the question. I was in the admin channel few days ago, and I could swear that the admin on duty told me to switch to lobby (not 100% sure) so I was wondering if an admin can hear me asking to join from anywhere.
thx a lot!

They can only hear you if they're in the same channel with you. Anyone with Admin next to the name can help you. If they're not in the channel you need to use you can still go to which ever channel they're in and talk to them for what you need then they can put you in the appropriate channel or you can alt-tab out and change yourself.

We use vBAdvance as a portal. I think I turned off the display of latest posts bc it was redundant since most people just go straight to teh forums and click on the "New Posts" link.

That was me, I saw you in the channel and asked if you needed something, I heard you say something , but then you never responded again nor did your indicator show that you were trying to talk.
thats when I moved you to the lobby.

@iChix
I actually responded, but I guess that you couldn't hear me. Good to know, I'll check the settings. Thanks!

Grab one of us when we are on TS and we can check your settings. Just rt click on our name and send private message... You might be able to do it to the whole channel. You can also try doing that in the away channel too, sometimes we just stepped away for a sec. :thumbsup:
EDIT: and make sure and read through these 2 posts in case you haven't already
