Where is the best place to get one that I don't have to drop some serious coinage? Are they all the same....or is there something behind the gold plated ones with hex mesh and yadda yadda?
Need to know as my new tv will be here on Friday :D

Okay, I gathered as much from doing some reading. Now, where to buy at a reasonable price?

but ion free gold plating electron bonded to the nitrogen free cable makes those digital signals looks so much better, it actually "adds" bits of data to it to improve the quality.... i thought everyone knew that ;)

Well, I ended up finding 6ft HDMI cables at Sam's Club for $22. I went with those! They are gold plated and all that other mumbo jumbo, made by philips.

monster hdmi is the biggest legal scam out there. i payed 20 bucks for my cable....a digital signal is a digital signal. damn, even the cheapest hdmi cables have the same 3 layer cable protection. is crazy.

there are quite a few audiophiles who disagree with that, mainly because they are retards :D many would say there was a difference in a double blind hearing test between the same piece of equipment...
i completealy agree with you, however i am sure i detected a diffence going from coax digital out to optical digital out on my $200 speakers.... (j/k)

it's $22.87 for me, about $30 express, better deal then what i would be getting around here for the same quality cable.
