I just got this game and I know that people have had problems with updating it. Does anyone have any recommendations on updating before I start?

had some of the same problems... normally it's the firewall (windows and norm)... i'll also post up what another problem was in a couple of hours... have to ask my stepdad... i seem to have forgotten...

apperently my first theory was right... it was my firewall that disabled the download... turn those off and try to download the patches... should (possibly) work...

if it's city of heroes, make sure (if you like it) to buy city of villains... city of villains is a better game (in my opinion) sence they messed up city of heroes. plus, in buying both it only costs the same as if you had just the one (normally $15 for both if you own both) (or $15 for the one if you only own the one...)

Yes Company of Heroes. I know alot of people have had problems patching this game. I went ahead and tried it by turning off the AV. Runs good. Hard game I recommend it.

Several of us play... check out the other CoH thread... you should hook up with us for some MP games once you figure things out.

I will. I love games like this. It's got a couple little quarks I have to figure out for sure.
