help with CS:S backgound

i downloaded the deagle wallpaper and put it in the right folder... i think. wat exactly should i extract, all of it?

Just the file 'background.vtf' is all you need(I think that's what it's called)and extract that to your cstrike folder, it should then be in materials>console. Make sure there isn't already a BG in there or it will revert back the default BG. And make sure it's not in a folder within the console folder.

Nope, just reverts itself to the defualt BG. So make sure only to have one in there at a time.

Ahh I dl the same one and couldn't get it to work but I've been to lazy to look into. Thanks for keeping me the lazy bastard that I am. :thumbsup:
