hahahaha. that's he same way i get my radio to work in my car. hit the side of the middle part untill a wire falls into place and connects with the other one and voila, radio.

This worked for a cable box one time. It stopped receiving signal. I called support and the guy said to hit it really hard. I'm like WTF? but I slapped the box hard just to amuse the guy, but to my surprise it worked. :)

I fixed a tv like that once. It is the all purpose solution to any electronic probelm.
