Anyone here like Anime? I like anime. I've watched so many I can't even name them all. I started out watching the dubbed ones now I even watch subtitled ones off of www.animesuki.com. If anyone likes anime I suggest they check out Bleach on animesuki.com. I watched it when they first started putting the episodes in it's now like 28 episodes later and the series just keeps getting better and better. It's not some girly anime either.

I like the mainstream anime movies like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Spriggan, Ninja Scroll, etc... Episodic-wise, I like Samurai Champloo and Full Metal Alchemy. I can't get into Dragon Ball or some of the other ones. I did watch Golden Boy, and thought it was pretty hilarious!
I love anime. Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Fooly Cooly are my favorites. I've seen so many and love so many. I use to watch tons more back a few years ago but now I usually only watch what I can rarely catch on Adult Swim or some other source.
Ah, you know what I watch Marie. We watch the same thing.

ITs ALL ABOUT "NARUTO"
-yeah baby!!! :yaya:
I used to hate the stuff, but a few of my net friends convinced me to check it out and I found a few I liked. The original Kenshin OAVs were cool, I liked them a lot. I lost them on a reformat though :( Cowboy Bebop's a fave too. Vampire Hunter D was one my gf showed me, and it pwned. Oh yeah! More recently, she got me to buy a little anime dvd called Iria and that one was cool too. Only 4 episodes though just like the kenshin oavs :P
I actually like DB , mainly because its art is familiar (from CTs character artist), but also it was something my little bro fell in love with --- couldn't help but join in the fun :D
I generally like the short 'n serious types though. Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, the Kenshin and InuYasha eppies... stuff like that doesn't catch me. Mech types don't either (even as a kid I couldn't stand transformers:yuck: ) I'm pretty picky, I suppose, but I give'em each a chance as they appear on CN, but bleh..
Any suggestions?
For the most part, I've noticed that anime = recycled characters 'n plots. Creativity is the ability to hide your sources, they say -- rofl, and to take it a step further, it showed me where a lot of RPers got their creativity from.

Bleach is awesome. I've been following every ep the hour Lunar puts em up. As far as what else I see:
Currently following(mostly comedies):
Speed Grapher
MAR
Ichigo 100%
Basilisk
Law of Ueki
Futakoi Alternative
He is My Master
Sunabozu
Completed Viewings:
Gankutsuou
Mai-Hime
Le Portrait de Petit Cossette
Xenosaga pt 1

I recommend Gankutsuou to anyone who enjoyed the story of The Count of Monte Cristo (and uuh, you gotta enjoy anime too). I recommend Sunabozu to anyone who wants a good laugh.

Behold the incredible zilong sentence structure :yuck:
Havnt watchined anime in forever cuz I cant seem to stand it >_>
Manga, however, is different as I've first discovered Naruto and Bleach from toriyamaworld.com and One Piece from mangascreener :yaya:
Lots of them on mangajouhou.net , only unlicensed ones tho
If you want licensed manga like Naruto, Bleach, One piece, etc, gotta go to mirc.

Yea, there used to be a really good winamp anime streamer, desync.com, they had a pretty good selection, including Initial D (worship it! now!)

I did like anime a ton during high school, but it has dropped off a little in college, but I still like it nonetheless.
If you are looking for a more serious, but still good one check out
Twelve Kingdoms, a very well done series, to bad the damn author hasn't finished the book !!!! :mp5:
Also how could I forget my namesake:
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Its kinda like the Da Vinci Code in that it mixes history with pure fiction and turns out to be very enjoyable. But with more killing and such.
