We've had this kitten for a month now, he's barely four months old and done me proud already. At four months old and no front claws, he managed to kill his first mouse today. Very efficiently I might add. But best of all, he proudly brought it to my mom. She had just got done eating and he struted into the living room tail a wagging and jumped into her lap dead mouse in his mouth. Our three year old tomcat Biscuit taught him well.
In my experience with cats, male cats usually don't take to well to younglings. Biscuit flayer of possums and owls, actually brought this kitten to us. And has been taking care of him since day one.

I miss having cats. I like watching them hunt, even if it's bugs.
Although our tiny little 37 lb lab has now brought in 3 mice and killed one bird in the garden. Like a cat she proudly brings them in and puts them on the floor at my feet.

yeah... and I hate when you get up at night, and roll over and put you foot down and splat... that sucks... right at the bedside!

Good stuff. I like both cats and dogs though i have 2 cats and no dogs. Both my cats are crazy and funny as hell to watch.

im glad they kill rats, but i hate that they bring them and show off their prizes. i once had to clean up 2 lungs, a heart, 2 drumb sticks, bird seed, and a whole lot of feathers off of a rug once. it was a morning dove. it was pretty horific.

The great thing about Biscuit is he leaves no trace of his victims. Except the Possum, and thats cause it was bigger than him. And he couldn't fit it down his throat. Not so great when he disposes of his prey infront of everyone though.
