Resident Evil Outbreak File 2

Anyone a big fan of the Resident Evil series? I am. I have almost all the games and i've beaten all of them except for the Remake, Resident Evil 4, and Nemesis. I played Outbreak 1 when it first came out on my ps2 online with some friends who also bought it. Now Outbreak file 2 is out. I havent played much of it yet but so far its a step up from the first one. They've added modes like Elimination where you have to kill such and such zombies in such and such time and you can play it on different modes so it can be hard or easy. I've done Showdown 1 which you fight EVERY boss from Outbreak 1 straight through with limited weapons + healing items..I havent down Showdown 2 yet but thats when you fight all the bosses from outbreak 2..I hear they are implanting a Death Match mode so you can fight against other players..not sure if it'll actually happen. They also have Friendly Fire on/off and I dont know what else im still exploring.

Anyone else ever play these games?

Huge RE fan right here. But I personally can't stand the Outbreak series. It's just so damn linear and boring in my opinion. My friend and I beat the first one in one sitting. Plus I just loathe the fact that you can't speak to other players and form some sort of strategy(not that you even need strategy to beat it)or even just make small talk. That's one thing I love to do in online games, TALK to them. Not choose from a list of what they think might be useful phrases. I mean where's the ones that could actually help like: "I need to look for some more ammo", "Let's meet up at the entrance and move forward together", or even "SH*T I'M BEING EATEN ALIVE BY COCKROACHES HELP ME!!11one". But aside from my gripes with Outbreak and the terrible, terrible movies that Paul W.S. Anderson(AKA the Spawn of Satan)released, I love the series like no other. RE 4 rekindled my passion for it, and hopefully RE 5 on the Revolution will be even greater.

Indeed another huge fan of RE over here. Got the games, books, but not the movies. In my opinion, that idiot Anderson made up his own characters then slapped RE names on them. Totally ruined it. They weren't even horror/survival oriented -- they were action movies, wtf?

Anyway, I haven't tried either outbreak yet, my bro has them, but they're back at home. I used to RP RE stuff in the AOL Chats, pretty fun stuff if you're into creative writing, in fact I have a couple RE fics lined up after my Zelda ones :D (huge zelda fan too)

EDIT: Sheesh, I sound like a nerd. Jock/N3rd combo = teh win~!
