Just looked into it, this is for this purchase, you don't have to own a previous copy. MIR is for 11/8-11/16.

I use ZoneAlarm Firewall (basic free edition) on all my builds. It does its job well. Haven't had the chance to put the PRO version to the test yet (waiting until my next format/reinstall).

ZoneAlarm rocks baby, I've used it for two years. Protects your PC as well as Norton, but uses far fewer system resources. You don't even know its there until you click on the icon and see the list of all the badness its destroyed while you sleep. Good stuff!
