Please be aware that our Infantry server is being spoofed. There is another server with the same name, "War is Hell City Maps Infantry". It is from one of artofwarcentral's customers. We are currently pursuing this issue to see if they can be prevented from doing this or not.
We wanted to post here to let everyone know that the only BF2 server War is Hell Gaming has is
War is Hell City Maps Infantry

Hell yeah, I was wondering about that, noticed the double "War is Hell" infantry a few weeks ago on game-monitor... You can't blame them actually... Oh wait, yes you can!

Totally aggree. I think its cool that they like our servers so much that they woudl name theres after ours.
Though it still is kind of lame.
You know, They could have kept the same name with their loading screen message saying something like.
"We were so inspired by the WiH community, we decided to name our servers after them"

I think its more along the lines of what the 101st was doin to OBC. Its sad that they can't take the time to build their own server up and utterly spinless to boot . This should be considered theft. I mean if you name your band after another its infringement. If you want to server a big mac you have to pay franchise fee's so stealing a game server name should be considered theft aswell. Consider if that server was admined by a bunch of jackasses it could hurt this servers rank due to the other server being piss poor and run the good name of WIH into the ground. I hope you get them bitches good.

If anything, they should contact you guys, and just run that server as another WiH one. Like "War is Hell City Maps Infantry #2"

sorry guys but i dont think so!!! when they like our server they have to play on it !!! but "never" take the name of the best BF2 IO server for their own server to fill it up!! that sucks!!
ok i think when the want the same name for their server they have to ask "first" the owners of the original!!! (and pay a lot of money to them for using their name)

Yeah, well it still is flattery, because they recognize our server is such a good server, that by copying us they expect to get lots of people.
Though in the end, they should be stopped.

There is an imminent domain thing that exists. If you have it first and someone tries to take it, you can stop it.

I have your IO ip memorized. My guys have been playing it so much in the morning that our founder added a IO server to our list.
Of course it will be empty as all new servers are.
I am still not sure if I figured your group out.

We are a community, that has several clans that call WiH home. I won't list them all because I am sure I will leave someone out by accident.

The WiH clan was disbanded and they all went and joined the clans of wih to make wih a community and not a clan, (i believe, it was all confusing)

The owners, for a time, allowed some members to where the WiH tag. But, unfortunately it got abused and SOME people weren't acting in a manner that represented WarIsHell in a positive light. So all players were asked to remove the tag.
But there are several clans that play here. Some formed from the players they met here, others existed before they played here. Basically WIH is a gaming community, not a clan server. Hope that clears things up.

Just a general FYI, the 101st referred to is the 101st Corps not the 101st Airborne Division, which yours truly is a member. Slightly different in types of people belonging. I know the powers that be were made aware of the difference when it was an issue, just wanted to point that out for those that werent aware. he he.

There are more a few ex-101st member running around WiH's servers. :1poke:
As for them being responsible.. I think most of the remaining members have been playing 2142. I dont think they play BF2 anymore.
