DOES ANYONE else have Call of Duty 3, or am I alone on this one???

it has amazing graphics!!, when you zoom in it only focus' on what your pointing at then when you point somewhere else the focus switchs like in real life!

Yep I have it as well. I got mine day before yesterday and played for like 4 hours that night. I really like it as well. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but I heard that is excellent as well. There is a lot of action and it really gives the effect of being there well with the perspective and sound quality.:thumbsup:

ya, the grenade explosions are so much cooler than the explosions in bf2, and in COD3 you can pick up grenades that are thrown at you and throw them back:thumbsup:

Again i need to wait till i get paid, spent far to much this month already.

Or i will trade in a pile of stuff, but i will pick it up some time next week.

ya i know what you mean, i spent around $600 this week on my xbox 360 and stuff.

Man what is up with this?! Now CoD3 has moved to console only too... (MoH being the first one). Anybody have any idea why this titles have not been produced for PC's? Sucks for those of us who don't own consoles...

Microsoft started doing this years and years ago when they stole Halo (originally being developed as PC only), delayed the release (to basically redesign the game to work on console), and then released it on X-Box.

It was a highly anticipated PC game release as well which everyone was stoked about (Because it featured vehicles) which microsoft stole and made exclusive to the XBox.

When Microsoft released its Xbox game console in late 2001, easily the best launch title for the system was Halo. Originally announced way back in 1999 and slated for release on the PC and Macintosh, this first-person shooter became an Xbox exclusive after Microsoft bought the developer, Bungie.

Which.. back to the point I was trying to make is what Microsoft CONTINUES to do with games such as Call of Duty 3.

It's MS new policy for the xbox, get as many exclusive or near enough titles
to the 360, so it make people want to go and buy the console.

It's worked in the past the PS2 (think GTA, MGS, FF etc) just this time sony
have done hardly any of it.

I was so goddam pissed when I read the exclusive story on that in CGM.

Now that I know Halo isn't anything really special, I'm not too angry :P

Call of Duty 3 was developed by Treyarch instead of Infinity Ward who made the PC titles. The reason behind this is because Infinity Ward is working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Amped also claims that Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4 (what Amped refers to the game as) will bring the franchise back to PC (in addition to consoles) -- Treyarch's Call of Duty 3 is currently console-only. Sources have placed multiplayer support at up to 54 players.

My feeling exactly. I saw the ads for CoD 3 just last night and was like, !! DANG!! I want that.

nada for PC.

I think my favorite weapons so far are the M1 Garand and the Thompson SMG. Use the M1 from distance and the Thompson to clear a room.

th mi garand is so good for close range to, if you press left trigger it like locks on and its a one shot for a kill, its dead accurate!
