We noticed that there's been a trend to discuss politics in our forums. This is not what our forum and community is about. We are a gaming forum. We are not a political forum. We are here to have fun and have light-hearted conversations. We come here to escape reality. We don't want to be reminded of the real world when we are here.
Most of the political discussions (even those that started light-hearted) is quickly turned into serious debates. Soon after, they turn into personal attacks. In the end, it creates unnecessary tension between members of this community.
The owners have decided that they will no longer allow political discussions in their forums. There are many other avenues for discussing politics such as http://www.politicalcrossfire.com/forum/index.php. Please go there or anywhere else for your outlet. All discussions about politics here will be locked and new ones removed at our discretion.

I go to a car racing forum, and they have a separate section titled "The Serious Side of Things" where it's acceptable to only discuss serious things. It's not just a political section, but more or less just a section for serious discussion. It works pretty good.
That being said, I'm sure you guys considered something like that. It's awesome how you guys actually address issues instead of just ignoring them. That's why WiH is so great, it's maintained so well.

Thank You, while I read plenty of these threads I don't post in them b/c I come here to get away from Rl for a while. There's plenty of those discussions everywhere you turn.
